[Teaching] 2024 봄학기 Innovation Management 수업

 

수업관련 포스트가 늦었네요. 충남대학교(CNU) 국제학부의 강사(유성 캠퍼스)로 국제학부 및 아시아비즈니스학과 학부생들을 대상으로 ‘Innovation Management’ 전공과목을 강의합니다. 현재 충남대에서만 강의합니다. 이번 학기 수강생은 24명으로 많은 수의 학생들이 한국, 방글라데시, 폴란드, 우즈베키스탄 국적의 학생들로 구성되 있습니다. 수업의 모든 활동들은 오프라인과 영어로만 이루어집니다(수업자료 공유를 위해 CNU Cyber -campus를 활용합니다. 일부 한국 학생들의 문의는 한국어로 응답이 이루어지기도 합니다).

 

Overview of Innovation Management: Innovation is imperative for firms and other organizations. Undoubtedly, it stands as the most crucial tool for each organization to not only survive but also thrive in the fiercely competitive and dynamically changing business environment. Many organizations keep up with the emergence or proliferation of new technologies, including artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, 3D printing, synthetic biology, robots, and new battery technology. Incumbent organizations and entrepreneurs strive to harness and integrate these technologies, fostering new innovations in the intense competitive arena. Their managers, engineers, and entrepreneurs must possess the knowledge and skills of innovation management. They must possess innovation leadership to guide their companies, start-ups, and even public organizations. When reflecting on our innovation history, luck has sometimes played a role in determining the success of innovation. Unfortunately, luck is useless if one is not ready when it comes. To capitalize on luck, individuals need to possess the knowledge and skills of innovation management. There is no single answer to successfully managing innovation. This course serves as a foundation in innovation management, providing a unique opportunity to learn essential concepts and techniques. Consequently, you have the chance to enhance your competence in innovation management.
